Data use and privacy policy

In order to ensure the security of our users' personal data, we ensure that our data processing and collection policy complies with the new European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national legislation.

Our privacy policy describes how we use the data we collect and the rights our users have regarding the processing of this data.

  1. Data collection

Browsing the www.gabrielpitt.com website is possible without having to reveal any identity or any other personal information about its users.

In order to order a product from our website, the user must have a user account. To do so, the user must provide an email address, create a password, communicate certain personal data (such as your first and last name, your favourite shop, a complete address and a telephone number) and accept our General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereafter, GTCS).

However, if a user wishes to obtain further information and be contacted for this purpose or to place an order, he or she must fill in a form and provide certain information.

GP SA (in creation) is required to collect data at different levels:

  • Request for information: By filling in the information request form on our website, the user communicates his/her: surname, first name, telephone number, email address, postal code, town, country. This personal data is collected in order to allow us to contact the user by e-mail, telephone or post in order to process the request for information. We keep the data transmitted during an information request for 3 years.
  • Registration for a training course offered by www.gabrielpitt.com : When registering, the user provides a number of details: surname, first name, address, telephone number, educational and/or professional background
  • During the course : After registration, other personal data are recorded by us: password, grades, speaker ratings, messages etc.
  • When ordering : surname, first name, telephone number, email address, postcode, city, country. This personal data is collected in order to allow us to contact the user by e-mail, telephone or post to process their request, acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions, information concerning subscription to the newsletter, consent to receive advertising.

In addition, if it is a business account, GP SA (in creation) registers and collects the company name, the VAT number and the FDI.

  1. Purpose of collection

The purpose of the collection of personal data by GP SA (in creation) is to

  • Processing the application and/or orders;
  • Sending documentation and/or orders;
  • To send information and news about our training courses or commercial proposals if we have obtained the user's consent;
  • To allow access to and navigation in the online student area in order to, in particular, consult grades, etc;
  • To have all the information necessary to follow the course available on the student's space;
  • To send all necessary communications about the training and/or orders;
  • To analyse the learning data of our participants as part of a continuous improvement process;
  • Carry out occasional satisfaction and employability surveys;
  • Produce statistics on the use of our educational tools and/or an internal report for the educational teams;
  • To enable the payment of training costs and/or orders;
  • To send to third parties for spot checks, hosting or computer maintenance.
  1. User rights

In accordance with the European regulations in force, the user has the following rights:

  • Right of access : the user has the right to receive a copy of the data we hold;
  • Right of erasure and right of rectification : the user may request the deletion of his or her data and the rectification of any errors or obsolete information;
  • Right to object : The user also has the right to object at any time to the processing of his/her personal data for marketing purposes or to the processing carried out ;
  • Right to limitation : the user has, in certain cases covered by the regulations, the right to request the suspension of the processing of his/her data;

The user may exercise his rights by sending a written request, accompanied by a valid proof of identity bearing the signature of the holder, to GP SA (in creation).

Telephone conversations with auxiliary staff, administrative assistants, of GP SA (in creation) may be recorded for training purposes, in order to improve the quality of our services.

User data is not transferred or stored outside the European Union or the United States.

The user's data is processed in such a way as to guarantee its security.

GP SA (in creation) implements organisational and technical measures to avoid any leakage or theft of data and ensures that its subcontractors implement measures to protect the data collected. The persons who have access to this data are bound by a strict security obligation.

The data collected during access to the website (such as IP address, date, time and browser used) are processed for the purposes of managing and maintaining the website. This data is treated in strict confidence and is not passed on to third parties, unless required by law. Any subcontractors are only provided with the data necessary for the task they have been assigned and are bound by strict confidentiality requirements.

GP SA (under construction) also collects feedback on user behaviour on the website for statistical purposes. The resulting statistics are collected in a completely anonymous manner. If GP NV (in existence) receives personal information via its website that requires a personal response (such as questions or orders by e-mail), the corresponding data is processed within the specific framework of the request and is not reused or passed on for other purposes.

  1. Duration of data retention

The user's personal data will be stored in an appropriate manner in order to ensure compliance with applicable laws or as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. GP SA (in creation) deletes personal data as soon as it has lost its usefulness and, apart from any legal obligation, after a period of inactivity of 3 years.
